  • Professionally responsible for activities of 5 crew survey firm. Responsible for developing plan to perform land surveys, review and certification of plats and descriptions. Implemented use of Arcview 8.3 in conjunction with project planning for route surveys on interstate utility work. Authored company procedures to merge position data from conventional and GPS survey observations, with vector and rastar data from public and private sources, for the purpose of transportation planning, environmental permitting, construction planning, land acquisition planning, and utility system modeling. During this period developed a working knowledge of Datums, Projections, mapping grade and survey grade data collection schemes, establishing high order networks based on static GPS phase observations.

  • Professional survey firm. Performed surveys to establish oil and gas lease boundaries and acquire easement and right of way for energy transportation systems in NW New Mexico and SW Colorado. Projects also included layout work for Bureau of Reclamation.

  • Technical: Trimble type GPS equipment, including 4000, 4400, 4700 receivers, TSC1 v7.5 controllers, TGO v1.62 for Static, CORS RINEX, and RTK processing of GPS observations. Computer skills include Eagle Point survey suite running on Autocad or Intellicad platforms. Implented the use of Arcview for project parcel research and database, control network database, project map generation and project completion database.
